It was great base for travelling to Talgarth, I was glad to stay there. It was located in a really quiet area in the heart of the village. David was the best owner ever. Had comfy bed and wake-up service. The building was very well maintained.

I recently stayed at Carinya in the beautiful Black Mountains for a charity climb up Snowdonia. Janet and David, the hosts, went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. They dried my soaking wet gear, even collected a takeaway for me, and provided amazing facilities and spotless cleanliness. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, and Janet and David's hospitality made me feel like I was at home. Highly recommended.

At Carinya, we got excellent value for our money and the room was just perfect. The location was ideal for exploring South Wales and the Brecon Beacons, and the staff, Janet and David, treated us like family.
